Objectives
- Strengthen Youth Engagement in European Democratic Processes: EUPULSE aims to increase youth participation in the democratic process, specifically by connecting young people with European Parliament processes before and after the 2024 elections. This includes fostering understanding of how EU policies impact their lives and encouraging active contributions.
- Promote Accessibility to Civic Participation: The project seeks to bridge the gap between young people and EU institutions by simplifying access to information and opportunities for engagement. This involves reducing institutional barriers and enhancing digital outreach to make civic participation more approachable for youth, especially those who feel disconnected from traditional political channels.
- Create Innovative Platforms for Dialogue and Awareness: Through digital tools, podcasts, and interactive events, EUPULSE provides spaces for young people to voice their opinions, interact with policymakers, and engage in discussions on EU policies. These activities aim to make youth aware of their rights and empower them to influence policy decisions meaningfully.
- Address Gaps in Youth Civic Education and Awareness: EUPULSE is designed to counteract disengagement, lack of awareness, and the digital divide by equipping young people with accessible resources, educational materials, and skill-building workshops that prepare them for sustained civic engagement and policy influence.
- Strengthen and Sustain Youth-Inclusive Policies Beyond Elections: EUPULSE focuses on building a foundation for ongoing youth engagement in policymaking by creating a sustainable framework that includes advisory groups, ongoing feedback channels, and resources that remain accessible post-project to reinforce youth involvement in the EU’s democratic life.
