Our Mission
EUPULSE is a dynamic initiative aimed at empowering young people across Europe to take an active role in the democratic process and influence policymaking at the European level. Recognizing the unique perspectives and potential of youth, EUPULSE provides interactive tools, resources, and spaces that make European politics accessible, engaging, and impactful for young voices. By fostering connections between young people and European institutions, the project supports the EU’s Youth Goals, with a particular focus on Goal 9: Space and Participation for All.
At its core, EUPULSE addresses the barriers young people often face in civic engagement,from feeling disconnected from complex political structures to lacking awareness about participation opportunities. Through initiatives like the Youth Podcasts EU Elections Observatory, digital platforms, workshops, and youth-led campaigns, EUPULSE has encouraged youth participation in the lead-up to the European Parliament Elections 2024 and continues to foster engagement beyond the elections.
As we move forward, EUPULSE is committed to sustaining youth influence in shaping policies that impact their lives, promoting a culture of active citizenship, and building a bridge between young people and European institutions. Together, we are creating a future where youth are not only represented but are essential participants in democratic life across Europe.
Target Group of EUPULSE
EUPULSE is designed to engage young people across Europe, particularly those aged 18-35, who are interested in influencing democratic processes and contributing to European policymaking. The project seeks to reach youth from diverse backgrounds, with a specific focus on those who face barriers to civic engagement, including social or economic challenges, digital divide issues, or geographical isolation.
The project places an emphasis on youth with fewer opportunities, including those from marginalized communities, migrant backgrounds, or those at risk of social exclusion. By creating accessible pathways and offering digital tools, educational resources, and participatory events, EUPULSE empowers young people to actively participate in the EU policy arena, not only around the European Parliament Elections 2024 but also as an ongoing commitment to European democratic life.
